Kendall Karson, a fellow adult film star, started crowd-fund to help pay for her battered 23-year-old co-worker’s medical expenses.
With the help of fellow porn stars – including Jenna Jameson, Kendra Lust and Ava Addams, according to TMZ – the GiveForward.com fund has garnered $38,640 via 479 donations.
“Please join me in raising funds to help pay for (Christy Mack’s) medical costs and time off from work while she recovers from such a tragic experience,” the creator of the page wrote.
“It's a miracle she was able to escape with her life.”
Mack claims she suffered 18 broken bones and a ruptured liver after War Machine – formerly known as Jon Koppenhaver – abruptly showed up at her house around 2 a.m. last Friday. Police continue to search for War Machine, who denies Mack’s account from that night.
Mack has since tweeted out photos of her injuries.
Her face, mangled and swollen, will likely need extensive work if she’s to return to acting.
What happened that night, however, remains a he-said, she-said war of words between War Machine and Mack.
In a Twitter post, War Machine said he planned to propose to his porn star ex-girlfriend when he showed up to her house last week
Mack said in a statement the couple split in May. She was stunned to see War Machine show up at her house while she was home with a “fully clothed" and “unarmed” third party.
“Without a single word spoken, (War Machine) began beating my friend,” Mack said. “Once he was finished, he sent my friend away and turned his attention to me.”
She then detailed the beating her ex-boyfriend allegedly served up moments later.
“My leg is so badly injured I have not been able to walk on my own,” Mack said in a statement. “I also attained several lesions from a knife he got from my kitchen. He pushed the knife into me in some areas such as my hand, ear and head. He also sawed much of my hair off with this dull knife.”
Authorities have been unable to find War Machine.
The 32-year-old fighter did, however, respond via Twitter to allegations he brutally beat his former girlfriend.
“I’m not a bad guy, I went to surprise my girlfriend, help her set up her show and to give her an engagement ring and ended up fighting for my life,” the veteran mixed martial artist claimed.
War Machine, who has fought in Bellator MMA and the UFC, among other promotions, has a combined record of 14-5, according to Sherdog.com.
He previously spent time behind bars for an assault conviction in 2010.
Like his alleged victim, War Machine also briefly an adult movie star.
One of his last tweets Sunday night: “The cops will never give me fair play, never believe me. Still deciding what to do, but at the end of the day it’s all just heart-breaking.”
In another twist late Friday night, famed bounty hunter Duane “Dog” Chapman says he’s after War Machine after the one-time UFCer refused to turn himself in.
